How to hire.

From our Chichester office, we offer prompt delivery and collection at competitive rates.

Our delivery service is available for local areas including Bognor Regis, Chichester, Barnham and Arundel. For a charge of £8+VAT each way, we can deliver your equipment to you and collect it at the end of your hire period. This covers a radius of 10 miles from PO19 6SN. Our delivery and collection service is possible for areas outside this radius for an additional charge of £1+VAT per mile per direction thereafter. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Our handy price list of tools and plant available to hire can be viewed here To arrange the hire of any of our machinery, please call us. We will discuss your requirements and availability and arrange for delivery of your hire items if necessary. Once you have finished with your hire item, you can call us to arrange collection, at which point the item will be ‘off hire’. Alternatively, you can return your items to us. Find our office here.

If you decide to collect / return your items yourself, please ensure you have enough people to help you to load your equipment if necessary. We are happy to help with loading. For further information regarding weights and specifications of any of our plant list, please ask. We can also advise on what type of vehicle is required to transport your hire.

Demonstrations of equipment are complimentary on requested. Some items require additional safety training - we will advise of this at the point of hire and let you know how long to allow.

Weekend Rate
Our weekend hire period runs from 4pm Fridays until 8.30am Mondays. This is as standard on most of our equipment.

Long-Term Hire Rates
If your project necessitates a long-term hire of plant or tools, please contact us to chat through your requirements.

Damage Waiver
The Supplier may offer at its sole discretion a damage waiver service (“Damage Waiver”) for certain Hire Goods upon payment of an additional charge (the “Damage Waiver Charge”). Where Damage Waiver is available as an option and the Customer has paid the appropriate Damage Waiver Charge, the Supplier will waive up to £500.00 of the cost that would otherwise be payable by the Customer in respect of any accidentally damaged Hire Goods, subject to the following terms. The Supplier reserves the right not to offer the Damage Waiver to particular customers in its absolute discretion and at any time, and further reserves the right to withdraw the Damage Waiver service at any time (on written notice). For the avoidance of doubt, where the Damage Waiver applies the Customer will still be liable for damage to Hired Goods over and above the £500 Damage Waiver limit in accordance with the remaining terms of these conditions.

JCB Hire
JCB plant items require specialist insurance during the period of hire. This can be purchased separately through JCB. View JCB Plant Insurance.

Payment methods
We accept most major debit and credit cards.

Non-account holders For all non-account customers we will require a card or cash deposit equal to two weeks hire charge. Charges will be made automatically if the hire continues over two weeks or if the on-going hire charge exceeds the deposit. We will also require two forms of ID, one of which must be photographic. Please contact us to verify accepted forms of identification.
